14th October 2008 - Smalleys Beach - Cape Hillsborough National Park - Queensland

Along a dirt track approximately 1k long takes you to Smalleys Beach |Camping Area which is about 12k East of Seaforth , via Cape Hillsborough Road & Smalleys Beach Road. With views of the Whitsunday islands across a placid ocean passage, this camping area is an excellent place to spend a week or two. Swimming, fishing, and just relaxing is the order of the day. Chemical toilets and limited tank water is available. Although there are about 12 sites, only the first five are accessible to high vehicles and then only with extreme care. Low branches and close trees make it a bit difficult to set up a camp. Good clear television and phone coverage are an added bonus as there are no shops in the area.
