20th April 2010 - Bigriggen Park Reserve - Rathdowny District

Set among tall timber, Bigriggen Park Reserve is a large, (50 Acres) well grassed and shaded camping area suitable for all types of camping. Septic toilets, hot showers, bins, a dump point are all provided. The kiosk has all the general goodies to support all camping requirements including bread, groceries, ice creams and gas bottle refilling point. Fire wood may also be purchased at the kiosk. The Junction of the Logan River and Burnett Creek provide an ideal swimming spot for the young and old as well as fishing for the elusive fish. Access to this beautiful site is from Rathdowney along Boonah / Rathdowney Road for about 6k and then turn left into Upper Logan Road and after about 600m follow the signs to the reserve. -
