15th March 2012 – Kandanga RV Camping Area – Gympie District – Qld.

The small town of Kandanga is located approximately 24k South of Gympie where the friends of Kandanga Group have established an excellent camping ground opposite the swimming pool and within a short walk of the town centre, hotel and bowling club. The facilities include level asphalt / grassy sites close to a park where a fireplace and firewood are available. The swimming pool has hot showers for a gold coin donation when the pool is open. Other facilities include toilets, an electric BBQ and a shelter shed with tables. The information centre building, in the main street has a library, café, and is a must stop to enquire about the surrounding district’s attractions including the Railway stations, Amamoor camping area, Imbil’s antiques and campgrounds. There is a time limit of 72 hours and donations for the use of the campground and facilities are welcome
