16th November 2008 - The Gorge Campground - Aratula Queensland

This private camping ground is situated about 3k South of Aratula, via Charlwood Road & George Road. Well grassed, level and in a beautiful setting beside a creek this exceptional camping area is suitable for all sizes of caravans and Motorhomes. Shelter sheds; plenty of water, (not suitable for drinking), tables, swimming holes and camp showering facilities are all here. We found the best time to stay was during the week away from the school holidays. There are plenty of shaded sites as well as open grassed areas. We recommend this venue and will return for a longer stay in the future. The photos say it all.
